Maori Culture Haka

Studying in New Zealand, What’s best?
I’m from Malaysia and I’m thinking of furthering my studies in New Zealand. I visited www.newzealandeducated.com and got interested about NZ. The culture and specially the Maori Haka dance really caught my interest. Before that, I was planning to go to Perth, Australia. Can anybody tell me about their study experience in NZ or what’s best about NZ? And compared to Perth, which is better? I know it’s definitely cheaper in NZ compared to Australia by about 10K. Living conditions, living cost…. etc. anything a international student should consider before deciding to study abroad.
I’m interested in Mass Com or maybe Hospitality, any U recommendation? =] Thanks!
Weather wise, after living so many years in a warm country, I would like a taste of snow or maybe cool weather would be really awesome =] Of course, I also love the sand and the sea, since I live on an island all my life, it would be something close to home to be familiar with.
I grew up in Aus but now am living permanently in NZ and have done University study in both countries. I am of the opinion that the quality of education in general is similar, both cultures are quite relaxed-as a general rule! I would say apart from the cost the biggest determining factor would have to be what kind of weather you like or are used to Perth is pretty warm year round while some places in NZ get very, very cold. Good luck, all the best
